Putin and Russia are not based or trad. Russia has terrible abortion rates, low church attendance -despite the fact that they have been building more churches than ever, and Putin has buddies from a certain 'Chosen' group (Arkady and Boris Rotenberg to be specific).
I think Russia is not more Christian because they don't dare to be and because most of them simply aren't. When it comes to culture, Russia has always looked to Europe or the West for inspiration. Plus, most of their world support is from leftists. Huge abortion rates and low church attendance after 70 years of communism can't be undone so quickly in 20 years.
Why the aversion amongst zoomers to the 'chosen people'. If gentiles had the same level of sensibilty as them they would be just as good at getting ahead. Instead, thuggishness and barbarity are favoured. Look at your superiors for inspiration, not at your inferiors. It is most lamentable that criminals are an admired group among youths today.
